This home represents some of the best architecture in the city. From days gone by but almost no neighborhood escapes algae, moss, and the visibly ugly stains that we see everywhere now. This home presented many challenges. Accessibility is one and there was also 3 of the most beautiful japenese maples that I have ever seen growing right next to the house. We were very careful and systematic in the way that we approached this home. Our two technicians took their time to make sure that all bases were covered. When we viewed this job in the beginning it was like a garden was growing on the roof. The homeowner couldn’t have been more excited with the results. This is one of the most challenging moss removal jobs that we have ever seen. It doesn’t get much thicker or harrier than this! The root system has proven to be very deep and penetrating into the shingles. I am not embarrassed to say that it did take several follow-up treatments to eradicate the infestation. We are happy to say, as the homeowner is, this roof is now free of stains and damaging bacteria.
